What is KardiaMobile 6L?
KardiaMobile 6L is the world’s first FDA-cleared, 6-lead personal EKG. In seconds, it records medical-grade heart data right on your phone and provides an instant analysis of your EKG. KardiaMobile 6L can detect Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), Bradycardia, Tachycardia, and Normal Sinus Rhythm. How does it work?
KardiaMobile 6L has two electrodes on the top for your fingers or thumbs and one on the bottom to contact the skin of your left leg. These three electrode placements are what enables it to record a 6-lead EKG. KardiaMobile 6L records EKG leads I, II, III, aVL, aVR, and aVF.
Why six leads?
KardiaMobile 6L is one of the only personal EKGs that records six leads of heart data, whereas many smartwatches and wearables only record a single lead. The more leads recorded, the more detailed view of your heart rhythm. Some arrhythmias can only be detected with additional EKG leads.
